Andrea Pinotti (Università di Milano) is Associate Professor in Aesthetics. His main research topics are image-theories and empathy-theories. A former fellow at the Italian Academy at Columbia University, the EHESS in Paris, the ZfL in Berlin, and a Senior Fritz Saxl Fellow at the Warburg Institute, he is currently Directeur de Programme at the Collège International de Philosophie in Paris (2010-2016).
