Hans Christian Hönes

Hans Christian Hönes is Senior Lecturer in Art History at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is co-editor of volume IV of Aby Warburg’s Gesammelte Schriften (“Fragmente zur Ausdruckskunde auf anthropologischer Grundlage”), and author of Tangled Paths. A Life of Aby Warburg (London, 2024) - the first biography of Warburg in English in over 50 years.
